A pivotal new opportunity in our growing Print, Copy & Create ( PC&C) business securing commercial contracts and agreements for current state PC&C assets and services. This exciting new senior role will identify opportunities to negotiate new commercial partnerships to drive the strategic capabilities of the PC&C value proposition and future growth trajectory.


In collaboration with Merchandise, eCommerce, Marketing, CX and IT, this role will oversee the successful execution and integration of new business partnerships into the Officeworks every-channel ecosystem to improve commercial performance.


Driving development of our PC&C business, significant attention will be to renew our existing partnerships; identify and pursue new business development through partnerships and contracts and optimising the commercial performance of our new website.


Key focus areas:

• Return on Investment of all BAU lease renewal agreements supporting the PC&C product and service range

• Proactively identify and assess strategic partnerships, agreements (i.e. joint ventures) or potential acquisitions that strengthen the PC&C value proposition and step-change future growth

• Preparation of business cases supporting new business partnerships and agreements that receive OLT and/or Wesfarmers endorsement and commitment

• Successful project management and execution of new business partnerships and agreements within the Officeworks every-channel ecosystem

About you

This newly created opportunity will leverage solid previous experience developing and negotiating commercial agreements with large business partners. Previous Commercial and/or Financial Due-Diligence experience within a retail entity will be highly desirable.


Identifying and delivering commercial opportunities requires an outstanding communicator with a passion to drive change. A strong commercial acumen with ability to influence and inspire will be pronounced in this business leadership capacity.


Our successful candidate will likely be tertiary qualified at MBA level and have competencies with Microsoft Office suite, Project Management Software, SAP (including BW) and Project Management Methodologies.


Key considerations:

•           Previous project management experience (Min 7-10 years) in a commercial function.

•           Previous Commercial and/or Financial Due-Diligence experience highly desirable.

•           Analytics, reporting and problem-solving capability

•           Strategic agility and future focussed.

•           Influential change manager and results oriented

•           Excellent business acumen aware of the competitive marketplace.

•           Stakeholder management and engagement

•           Demonstrated time management and organisational ability

•           Sound marketing literacy highly desirable
