About the role

In line with Officeworks ambitious growth plans there is significant investment into our online capability, as such we have an opportunity for a Senior Paid Search Manager to join our growing eCommerce team. You will be responsible for the execution of day to day SEM initiatives supporting the ecommerce roadmap, customer calendar themes and supplier funded activity, as well as analysing paid search performance and maximising sales through the funnel to purchase. Working closely with the Merchandise, Marketing, Analytics and wider Customer Experience team you will plan and implement paid search initiatives to drive quality traffic, sales and margin growth.  Equally you will work with our analytics team and external agencies to identify underperforming areas and develop strategies to maximise ROAS.

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the success and growth of Officeworks eCommerce team. You will bring to the team energy, passion and drive for results! It is ideally suited to someone with a strong agency background and as a natural organiser you have strong planning skills and a methodical approach  to managing competing timelines and strict deadlines. Sound knowledge of eCommerce, online retailing and digital marketing is a must. In addition you will have demonstrable expertise: 

  • 6+ years in Digital Marketing or eCommerce
  • Managing agency partners
  • Managing or part managing an ecommerce store
  • Web analytics software
  • Working on website maintenance projects  and / or managed online content development
  • Commercial acumen and influencing skills

Nice to have:

  • Sound Knowledge of site search, recommendations, ratings and review features
  • Knowledge of UX and CS Web design experience
  • Google Ads qualifications are preferred
  • Working knowledge across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be well regarded
