About the role

The Officeworks North Rocks Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) is a leader in fulfilling e-Commerce orders in in the growing Omni-Channel retail market. Our focus is team safety, customer satisfaction and ensuring continuous improvement in our operations.

For this exciting team development role we are seeking a confident and experienced team leader to coordinate fulfilment and delivery operations for NSW, providing accurate and consistent same day order fulfillment and delivery service for Officeworks customers and stores.

The role will see you:

  • Having safety as a core value and role modelling this culture across your team and the site
  • Implement and sustain efficient inventory processes with a focus on safety, compliance and  continuous improvement
  • Oversee Picking, Stocking / Replenishment and Despatch KPI's
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders in relation to customer and internal queries
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate and oversee team development and training
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Manage workflow and labour resources to meet established service levels and KPI's
  • Provide feedback and support to team members and managers to increase performance and continuous improvement across the state
  • Championing teamwork to improve team behaviours and drive for results
  • Fostering a team culture that is constructive, professional, supportive, and with a customer focus

About you

For this key role, established leadership experience is essential. Prior experience in an FMCG retail or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.

As a collaborative leader with a minimum of 2 years in a Warehouse or Logistics Operational Team Leader role, your focus will be to support the CFC Manager with all aspects of safety, people, service, productivity, cost and inventory.

In addition, our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A positive and proven focus on health and safety
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • A strong customer service ethic (internally and externally)
  • Drive for Continuous Improvement
  • Agility in approach and execution to policy and tasks
  • Minimum 2 years in a Warehousing or Logistics leadership capacity
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • SAP systems experience advantageous but not essential
