About the role

If you enjoy working collaboratively and bringing energy, enthusiasm and inquisitiveness to your work each day, we currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Banking team in Finance. Currently, this part-time position(24 hours per week) is based at our Support Office in East Bentleigh, Victoria and we support a hybrid work approach (on-site and working from home) and we will offer flexible working hours for role.

 

This exciting opportunity reports to the Banking and Rebates Manager, providing accounting support through the completion of weekly and month end processes.

 

With a focus on journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations, you will also get involved with resolving customer and store related banking queries plus investigations (i.e. transaction reviews, incidents logged by stores etc).

 

Working in a close-knit team of four, this rewarding role provides excellent exposure to retail store operations and cash office responsibilities in addition to great exposure to our broader Finance team.

About you

This exciting opportunity would be ideal for someone with bookkeeping experience and looking to further their Finance journey with a high performing finance team.

 

This interactive and engaging role will leverage your excellent written and verbal communication skills and banking exposure to retail store operations and cash office responsibilities.  Experience in Microsoft Office, SAP, CRM and BW would be an advantage.

 

With a strong attention-to-detail, you appreciate accuracy and timeliness in meeting deadlines. You enjoy solving problems and challenging the status quo because you are results oriented, curious, and motivated. 

 

You enjoy fostering good relationships with team members at all levels, being part of a collaborative and cohesive team.
