About the role

We’re growing and aiming to double the size of our business by 2025, it’s an exciting time to join us! We need an experienced Business Analyst to join our Customer Experience team in a permanent opportunity. A Business Analyst at Officeworks is responsible for the investigation, elicitation and critical analysis of requirements, and the definition and documentation of customer-focused solutions that align to the overarching strategic objectives. In addition, you will oversee the provision of support to the teams that implement and roll-out these solutions. Using the customer journeys and solution architecture you will produce all the necessary process & touchpoint documentation to provide a holistic picture for our every-channel customer-focused initiatives. The role will see you build all necessary requirements in a consistent agreed format that can be used across any agile team, and where required you will play the key role of scrum master for the project team.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be innovative, curious and love solving problems! You thrive in finding creative solutions and driving outcomes. Your exceptional communication skills allow you to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and will see you collaborate and connect cross-functionally with ease. You’ll need the ability to influence, negotiate and get buy in from stakeholders and communicate technical concepts in simple, easy to understand language. This role requires someone with a continuous improvement mind-set with the ability to challenge the status quo – if you have ideas share them!!

Ideally, we are also seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in an IT, Business, eCommerce and/or project related discipline.
  • Any supporting certifications in agile, project methodology or business analysis would highly desirable
  • Understanding of agile led development
  • Experience within an agency or digital team would be advantageous
  • You’re passionate about Customer Experience Design
