The Change team sits within the Strategy and Innovation function at Officeworks. We are a diverse team (two years young), who partner across our business to bring strategic initiatives to life.
Partnering for change at Officeworks as we head into a significant growth phase is exciting, challenging and rewarding. This key strategic role will deliver high impact change initiatives within the Services portfolio, focusing initially on our Print, Copy and Create business.
As a pivotal driver of change, this exciting role will provide robust change management advice and delivery capability to stakeholders at every level of our organisation. The Change Partner will support in-flight projects while providing input to our enterprise-wide Change Portfolio, contributing to the evolution of our Change Framework and associated tools.

 

Key aspects of the role:
•    Stakeholder Management 
•    Change scoping, planning and delivery
•    Change impact identification 
•    Business advocacy to drive speed of adoption of new processes and ways of working
•    Ability to apply the Officeworks Change Framework 
•    Identification of people-related risks / issues and mitigations

About you

In close connection to each business channel, this role is suited to a strong change management leader with substantial experience delivering change initiatives. You will ideally display a high degree of customer-centricity and an understanding of holistic change within an all-channel retailer. Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence and build relationships is sought. 


We are seeking a tertiary qualified strategic thinker who can apply practical change management methods to achieving the desired behaviours. A consulting background (retail is a bonus), or a very strong change implementation background with a proven track record in delivering commercial outcomes into a retail business is advantageous.


Key considerations:
• Proven change management delivery in complex programs requiring the management of multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work with stakeholders across organisational layers (senior leaders, back of house and front of house)
• The ability to work within a structured change management framework and develop change collateral from discovery through to post implementation
• An understanding of risks and issues within the project and change management process
• Proven ability to identify, escalate and mitigate people related issues as they relate to change programs
• Ability to meet deadlines and develop collateral that is fit for purpose.
