About the role

As part of our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Delivery Lead for our Data Platform team to help us make bigger things happen for our customers. Working within our Data and Analytics team you will lead a team and provide specialist knowledge and high level technical support for the delivery of Officeworks data platforms. These platforms support the broader data and analytics teams delivering Advanced Analytics, Insights and Reporting across the entire Officeworks business. Working with cutting edge technology; AWS, Snowflake, data bricks you will also

 

  • Develop and lead a team that deploy, develop and support the use of data and data applications
  • Lead initiatives to ensure available data is best able to be used appropriately for reporting, insights and analytics
  • Provide data architecture support, guidance and capability to project teams to ensure data is managed and used to the highest efficiency
  • Work seamlessly with other Technology teams and functional areas to deliver data and analytics solutions which will support the Officeworks strategic objectives
  • Proactively seek innovative solutions, and employ innovative methodologies, which meet Officeworks business demands
  • In partnership with stakeholders and business leaders, develop estimation of business cases for new data and analytics projects

About you

In addition to tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar, you will have at least 5years empierce working on technical projects and 3+ years working in AWS environment. You will be able to leverage your expertise working with this new technology to help upskill your squad and broader team. The following attributes will ensure your success in this role

  • At least 4 years in Data Leadership roles
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Working cross functionally and influencing at senior levels
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and people leadership capability
  • Extensive Data Engineering, Data Warehousing and Data Management experience
  • Passion for data analytics solutions and new emerging technology
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace and at times ambiguous environment
