About the role

We have a great opportunity to join our eCommerce team as a Digital Engagement Lead. Reporting to the Digital Engagement & Personalisation Manager, you will be responsible for the digital campaign strategy, leading the eCommerce input in the marketing trading calendar, and the eCommerce digital response through the Activate & Connect framework for Officeworks. 

You will work closely with your Digital Engagement peers, Merchandise, eMerchandise, CRO and Marketing teams to implement a seamless and effective digital campaign experience for our online customers.  You will develop strategies to identify the best, most relevant way to engage customers and create personalised shopping experiences on site. You will also be responsible for analysing performance of digital campaigns, ensuring insights are fed back to the team to optimise during the campaign, and back to the business to ensure learnings are built on each campaign and year, key customer stories and identify the best way to further engage these customers.

Currently, the position is based at our Support Office in East Bentleigh, Victoria and we support a hybrid work approach (on-site and working from home).

About you

You have exposure to eCommerce and / or digital marketing and have a strong commercial acumen. You will also bring the following to the role, and the wider team:

  • Exposure to staff management as you will lead a direct report
  • Energetic and passionate for design with an ability to clearly discuss and explain design options
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement – creating efficiencies & processes, innovating, maximising growth, accelerating the rate of new customer engagement and improving website profitability
  • Use data and insights to inform best practice content production
  • Ability to work autonomously, act quickly, solve problems, and be a ‘self-starter’
  • Analytical, driven and proactive with superior people skills and the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results within a complex business environment with varying stakeholder needs and expectations
