About the role

We are looking for an initiative and solutions focussed Enterprise Platforms Manager to join our team here at Officeworks. You will be responsible for our enterprise infrastructure landscape, including:

  • All data centre compute, storage, and databases
  • Virtualisation technologies
  • Cloud platforms

Leveraging strong leadership, influencing and management capabilities, this role will drive change with a focus on efficient design, security, minimal business disruption and the ability to scale at pace. It will drive a technically strong team to provide ongoing maintenance and support, and to adapt to changing business requirements.

About you

You will be an experienced IT professional with a passion for problem solving and innovation! With a number of years’ experience in infrastructure related roles, working across automated platform technologies, you will be a genuine people leader with a passion for growth and demonstrate the ability to navigate a fast paced, growing environment. A strong track record of technical success in previous roles, you will have contributed to the development of consistent operational processes and task automation. Further you will possess:

  • Strong project and budget management experience
  • Ability to work well cross functionally at senior levels
  • Advanced problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Passionate about IT solutions and emerging technologies.

Tertiary qualifications and ITIL certification will be well regarded.
