About the role

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a dynamic People and Capability Partner (Retail ) to join our People team. This role will partner with our Retail key stakeholders, Store Business Managers, Area Managers and Business Teams to deliver value-added people initiatives in line with the needs and priorities of the business.  This role will work closely and proactively as an integral part of the People Team play a lead role in People Strategy and Team Member experience.

Key partnering support encompasses leading the following areas of the People strategy and activities;

  • Support the implementation of people strategies that attract, develop and retain talent to deliver on the strategic direction of People Plan.
  • Partnering with key business leads as they take accountability for the effective delivery of people strategies including aligning performance, capability, engagement and talent initiatives to the business strategy
  • Providing proactive and sound ER & IR advice
  • Organisational Design and implementation
  • Act as a change agent and program management for People and related Business programs
  • Coach and influence people leaders in enhancing performance and leadership capability
  • Provide actionable insights to leaders based on trends in HR data/analytics

About you

Tertiary qualified, we are looking for someone with sound Human Resources business partnering experience ideally coming from within Retail, FMCG, or a fast-paced commercial business.

With a track record of working successfully in a commercial environment, you bring strong experience in managing relationships with stores and demonstrable working knowledge of employment legislation.  You display strong communication and influencing skills and demonstrate a proactive approach to your work. Your ability to problem solve and make sound business decisions in a timely manner makes you a strong contender for this role.

Please note there will be travel associated with this role as you will partner with the business to visit stores in your state portfolio.
