About the role

Our customer experience team is growing. We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Production Support Engineer to join our growing CX function, on a permanent basis at our East Bentleigh support office. With our website as our biggest revenue driving store this is an amazing opportunity to work with an experienced, knowledgeable team on of Australia’s leading retail websites.

As a Production Support Engineer, you will maintain and monitor the health of our total online environment and plan key improvements to our development standards. This role will see you reporting into the Web Store’s Delivery Manager and contribute to incident management, improving domain knowledge across the team, and implement necessary processes and tools to ensure we are functionally correctly. You will collaborate with our Development Team Manager, Solution Architect and Product Owners to ensure we release secure and optimised code to the website, as well as manage the pipeline from new requests from business stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of our website growth and maintain production time.

About you

Our ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in technology or related field, with 4 + years’ experience as a Production Support Engineer, ideally within a complex retail environment. You have demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle and application development. This is the ideal position for a calm, proactive leader who can methodically work through incidents and guide a team through rectification and work collaboratively with relevant teams to ensure transparency and a healthy website environment.
