About the role

With an established and growing national retail footprint supported by our talented and dynamic Property team based at East Bentleigh, we are excited to announce a newly created opportunity for a Property Lease Specialist.


If you have an unbreakable attention to detail and a fascination for understanding and delivering what it takes to ensure our impressive leasing portfolio is compliant and commercial, then look no further!


As the key support to the National Lease Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage Officeworks’ lease obligations including negotiating lease variations for capital projects, assisting with the exercising of options. Interpreting lease clauses and valuations will come easily to those with a passion for property and a keen eye for detail. Monitoring capital contributions and enforcing rights under lease and purchaser deeds, a solid understanding of retail property leases is essential. 

About you

We are looking for a confident communicator driven by growth and continuous improvement who can build positive relationships with landlords, property managers and legal representatives. Strength in interpreting legal documentation, negotiation and professional writing capabilities are key in preparation of reports and undertaking varied and extensive research.


Supporting the National Lease Manager in obtaining market rental assessments and valuations, you have flair and competency for interpreting retail leases and managing data through Excel for financial modelling and analysis. Well organised and timely, you have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
