About the role

With an exciting project in the pipeline, we are on the hunt for a Senior UX Lead to join the Customer Experience (CX) team on a six-month fixed-term contract. 

This exciting role will assist in building the customer experience strategy for Officeworks using core design principles.

You will be responsible for embedding the core design systems and processes to enable consistent output by our design team across all channels.

Working with the broader design team you will maintain all our assets, Design system, component library, customer journeys and profiles and champion user-centred design methodologies throughout the business to enable greater thinking and solution design. 

Keeping abreast of the latest trends & emerging technologies, you will continually push for Officeworks to adapt UX best practices where applicable.

About you

Our ideal candidate demonstrates extensive experience (7+ years’) as a UX Designer, UX consultant or UX Researcher.

Ideally, you have experience running a design team within a complex retail environment or medium/large business.

You thrive in an agile, ever-changing environment and enjoy challenging the status quo and constantly striving for continuous improvement. 

Additionally, you will understand and be passionate about the eCommerce space and demonstrate the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
