About the role

 

Do you thrive by talking to new and existing clients, finding the right product solution and building relationships?

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as an Internal Early Learning Sales Representative.  By building your brand as a trusted partner, you will focus on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with your customers in the local community across the early learning sector including early learning sector groups, not for profit and schools.

 

Reporting to the Lead Early Learning Sales Representative, you will proactively guide our customers in making the right choice of products for their business across all categories in the Officeworks range.  This is a client facing role where you will engage with new and existing customers over the phone, video and email.

 

As an Early Learning Sales Representative, you will:

 

  • Provide inspiring end to end solutions for our early learning business customers
  • Maintain, grow and add business customers in your portfolio, contributing to yours and the overall business team’s success
  • Methodically plan your busy schedule to meet the demands of our customers
  • Work with our Store Business Team and their support team members to help meet the needs of local education customers in their community
  • Introduce, maintain and evolve relationships building strong connections

 

This role will be supporting our early learning business clients and can be based in any state in Australia, where you will work in a hybrid arrangement from home and in your closest office in your state.

About you

 

With an inquisitive mind and the ability to communicate effectively, you will utilise your strong rapport-building skills and customer centric approach to manage your portfolio of accounts. Drawing upon your solution-finding skills, you can think outside the box and enjoy providing recommendations and advice to your clients. In addition, you will have:

 

  • Prior experience ideally in a sales environment in a B2B relationship or account management role
  • Intermediate Excel skills, you will be able to interpret data to assist in proactively planning out your day to achieve the results you want. 
  • You want to further develop your sales skills within an environment where your focus is on developing credible relationships with business customers
  • Experience using the Salesforce CRM platform
