About the role

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Capability Partner to join our People team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the People & Capability Manager for QLD/WA/NT region, your key focus is to support  the QLD and NT regions translating business requirements into effective people outcomes across functions that are aligned to business objectives for our Stores and Business to Business Sales teams. This role will work with key stakeholders to deliver value added people initiatives in line with the needs and priorities of business. Furthermore, you will work closely and proactively as an integral part of the People Team and play a key role in our People Strategy and Team Member experience.

 

Key result areas include:

  • Support the People & Capability Manager on implementing organisational change initiatives including partnering with people leaders to embed change and support our leaders to overcome impacts of change.
  • Build and drive key projects in the People team that deliver on our People team strategy and Team Member Experience
  • Partner with People leaders as they take accountability for the effective delivery of people strategies including aligning performance, capability, engagement and talent initiatives to the business strategy.
  • Support and embed people strategies and activities that attract, develop and retain talent to deliver on the strategic direction of People Plan.
  • Deliver day to day coaching and advice to Officeworks people leaders on employee relations matters.
  • Support activities that build leadership capability across the client group.

About you

Our ideal candidate will currently be working in a multi -site HR role with established business partner principles.  You will understand the importance of creating culture within a business to drive success and be focussed on building key relationships with stakeholders. Your influencing skills will set you apart against other applicants and your communication style can be flexed to a broad audience. You will thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment and be passionate about working in a customer-orientated retail business
