About the role

We’re looking for experienced a Senior Account Manager to join our B2B team in Brisbane.
As one of Officeworks most experienced and senior sellers, you’ll own a portfolio of our largest and most complex Commercial and Government accounts. You will develop a portfolio strategy, building broad and deep relationships with your customers and taking overall accountability for the success of your accounts.

Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve key performance outcomes, including sales growth, customer retention, and overall account performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop contract and account management strategies for a diverse portfolio of complex clients
  • Develop an exceptional understanding of your client’s businesses, industries, and challenges to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Execute your strategies in line with monthly and quarterly sales and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain a broad range of long-term client relationships up to and including the executive level, that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and sustainable growth.
  • Achieve individual performance targets across sales growth, retention, and overall account performance.
  • Identify and progress opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across your portfolio.
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce, improving lead generation, opportunity quality, and conversion rates.
  • Use data and insights to manage opportunities effectively and maximise pipeline performance.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to other team members, as a senior and highly experienced member of the sales organisation

About you

You are an established expert in your field, you thrive on building strong client relationships and delivering consistent commercial outcomes. You bring a strategic mindset to your portfolio, backed by strong analytical capability and a proven track record of growing revenue across complex accounts.

You’re comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and take pride in balancing strategic planning with disciplined execution.


In Addition, You Will Have

  • 7+ years in contract/account management, including a minimum of 3 years in field sales
  • Exceptional client relationship skills, with a clear track record of developing multiple relationships at senior levels across your customer base
  • Demonstrated success forecasting and driving sales and margin performance.
  • A proven track record of forecasting, managing, growing and converting sales pipelines.
  • Highly proficient and disciplined in the use of Salesforce or a similar, enterprise CRM system
  • Strong analytical abilities, including Power BI (or similar) and the use of Excel (or similar) to identify customer opportunities and prioritise activity.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to provide clear feedback
  • A natural relationship builder who can create long-term, profitable customer partnerships
