About the role
At Officeworks, we’re embracing the power of AI to make work easier, smarter, and more impactful – for our team members and customers. We're looking for a Manager of AI to lead the way.
In this newly created enterprise role, you'll be the driving force behind the design, delivery and adoption of AI capabilities across our business. Working across business stakeholders and technology teams you will lead GenAI and computer vision to machine learning and robotic AI, you’ll help shape the future of how we operate, innovate and deliver great customer experiences.
What you’ll be doing
• Lead and evolve our AI strategy to align with business goals
• Oversee the rollout of AI technologies across digital and physical platforms
• Identify and drive opportunities for AI-led improvements
• Champion responsible AI use and ensure compliance with governance and ethical standards
• Stay across emerging trends to keep Officeworks ahead of the curve
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and the wider Wesfarmers network
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in tech with a solid AI background
- Hands-on experience with Google AI tools highly regarded
- Strong stakeholder management skills across senior/executive levels
- A natural storyteller – able to explain complex tech in simple terms
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects and manage governance
- Start-up energy with the ability to adapt, pivot and move fast
- Strong communicator, collaborator and problem solver
