About the role
We are looking for an AI Product Owner & Process Engineer to define, shape, and deliver AI-powered solutions that turn strategic ideas into measurable business outcomes.
In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of business strategy, product thinking, and engineering delivery, working closely with the AI engineering team, project managers, and business stakeholders. You’ll translate complex business challenges into clear requirements, manage the AI product backlog, and guide initiatives from early concept and experimentation through to production-ready solutions.
You’ll also play a key role in identifying high-impact opportunities where AI can improve productivity, cost efficiency, and customer experience, ensuring every initiative delivers real, measurable value.
What You’ll Do
- Translate business problems into clear visions, functional and technical requirements, including epics, features, and user stories.
- Manage and prioritise the AI product backlog to align with business priorities and delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards’
- Work closely with engineering and data science teams to define AI model inputs, outputs, and performance measures.
- Lead hypothesis-driven prototyping and experimentation to validate ideas and reduce delivery risk.
- Define and track success metrics to measure the impact of AI initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and governance using Jira and Confluence.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, test ideas, and refine product direction.
About you
You are a strategic thinker and pragmatic problem solver who enjoys turning complex business challenges into practical, technology-driven solutions. You’re comfortable working across both business and technical teams, helping translate ideas into structured plans that teams can execute. Experience working in startups or fast spaced, early-stage environments is highly valued, where adaptability, ownership, and the ability to move from idea to execution quickly are essential. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and bring curiosity and energy to exploring how emerging technologies can solve real-world problems.
To succeed in this role, you will also bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, AI, or a related discipline.
- Experience in product management, innovation, or a similar role.
- Experience working with AI-enabled products, AI prototyping, or emerging AI technologies.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and product backlogs.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, data science, and architecture teams.
