Join Our Team as a Last Mile Fulfilment Specialist! 12-Month Fixed-Term Opportunity
Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We're looking for a talented professional to join our Last Mile Fulfilment team at Officeworks.
In this hybrid operational and technical role, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, IT, Store Central Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and drive continuous improvements.
What You'll Do:
- System Configuration & Optimisation: Leverage your technical expertise in SAP to configure and optimise system settings, ensuring efficient and streamlined fulfilment processes.
- Enhance Fulfilment Capabilities: Focus on enhancing our online delivery fulfilment capabilities and customer experience through tailored system configurations and optimisation strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to identify pain points and implement innovative solutions.
- Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support and drive performance improvements through data-driven decisions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and administer the setup and configuration of the systems involved in the online fulfilment journey (e.g. Order Management System, Transport Management System).
- Identify gaps in current fulfilment processes and recommend improvements.
- Gather and document business requirements for continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to design and implement new fulfilment solutions.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and training of new business capabilities and processes.
- Conduct testing and facilitate business sign-off for new developments.
- Ensure timely communication with stakeholders and impacted teams.
- Support Store Operations and Supply Chain teams with order fulfilment-related issues.
- Manage order fulfilment and reporting.
About you
We're seeking a results-oriented professional with a tertiary qualification and experience in order fulfilment within supply chain, retail, logistics, or merchandise planning (desirable). You will have experience leading or contributing to strategy development and implementation, with a strong ability to influence and present. Proficiency in data analysis, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint), and SAP is essential.
