About the role
We’re looking for a data-driven and customer-obsessed Online Optimisation Manager to lead high-impact digital initiatives that enhance our website and app experiences, boost commercial performance, and help shape the future of online shopping at Officeworks. This role is perfect for someone with a strong ecommerce background who’s passionate about customer experience, digital transformation, and growth.
Reporting to the Online & Martech Enablement Manager, you’ll lead cross-functional efforts to optimise product discovery, eCommerce performance, and digital platform capability. You’ll use data, insights, and collaboration to drive initiatives that improve customer journeys, increase conversion rates, and grow online sales. You’ll also bring the voice of the customer into every step of delivery—ensuring what we build is aligned with both user needs and commercial goals.
This role is hybrid, with 2 days a week based at our Chadstone Support Office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify, prioritise and deliver initiatives that improve conversion, traffic, and user experience
- Optimise core ecommerce touchpoints including cart, checkout, and product search/browse
- Leverage data and analytics tools (Adobe/Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to inform decisions
- Collaborate with teams across eCommerce, Marketing, IT, CX, and Digital to deliver outcomes
- Stay ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and uplift capability
About you
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years in digital marketing or ecommerce, ideally with experience managing an online store
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build ROI-backed business cases
- Deep understanding of UX, SEO, analytics, ecommerce software, and CMS platforms
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and align stakeholders around shared goals
- Passion for customer experience and continuous digital improvement
