About the role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in contributing to the design and delivery of new concepts and pilots for existing stores including refurbishments and relocations. Keeping the Officeworks business requirements front of mind, the Project Manager will deliver innovative, cost-effective and end-to end project solutions ensuring all projects are delivered safely, within budget, on time and to a high quality.
Your proficiency in project management, focusing on project briefing, planning, safety, risk management, tenders and contractor management, coupled with your innate ability to build, lead and maintain relationships with all internal and external project stakeholders will all equally contribute to your success in this opportunity.
This is a full-time role, where travel will be required between our stores across the country depending on where the work is required. Outside of projects, you will be based in our Chadstone offices where we work in a hybrid working arrangement between working from home and the office. About you
Proven experience in managing budgets, compiling project costings, developing project implementation methods and producing scope of works documentation in addition to knowledge of the BCA/NCC will be highly regarded, as will your previous retail/big box exposure.
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:
- Over 5 years’ experience in Project Management and fit-out of retail outlets
- High level of understanding of the commercial, organisational and contract issues which surround retail fit out projects
- Thorough knowledge of project management principles, theories, concepts and proven skills in their use
- Strong operational and strategic focus
