About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Category Manager to lead one of our most exciting technical portfolios — driving forecasting excellence, market‑leading ranging, and deep supplier partnerships that shape the future of our offer.
What You’ll Do:
Own the Commercial Strategy
- Lead the end‑to‑end category strategy for a complex technical portfolio across all channels.
- Build an insights‑driven forecast and demand plan that maximises stock efficiency and commercial outcomes.
Shape Winning Ranges
- Develop market‑leading assortments informed by trend analysis, customer insights and global benchmarking.
- Work with vendors to bring differentiated, high‑impact ranges to life.
Partner with Big Brands & Vendors
- Drive supplier marketing programs that elevate category visibility and accelerate growth.
- Strengthen vendor relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and collaborate on long‑range plans, NPD pipelines, and joint business strategies.
Deliver Commercial Impact
- Achieve sales, margin, and EBT targets through strategic trade planning, pricing, and promotional execution.
- Analyse performance, identify growth levers, and pivot strategies in a fast‑moving, tech‑driven environment.
Lead & Inspire
- Coach a high‑performing team including a Category Managers and Category Assistant.
- Elevate capability in forecasting, supplier engagement, and product lifecycle management.
About you
About You
- Significant experience in category/product management or supplier/account management, ideally in computing or a related industry.
- Strength in forecasting, ranging, supplier marketing, and building commercial vendor partnerships.
- Proven ability to manage product lifecycles, deliver trend‑led launches, and influence cross‑functional teams.
- High commercial IQ with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or equivalent (preferred).
