About the role

Our Digital team is growing! We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior FullStack Engineer to join on a permanent basis. This role is based from our Chadstone Support Office in a hybrid work environment based in Victoria. 

You will develop, maintain and support Officeworks Online Applications not only building experiences that delight our customers but are more than comfortable in designing and provisioning backend systems and infrastructure. This is an amazing opportunity to work with an experienced, knowledgeable team on one of Australia’s largest retail e-commerce platform. Join our team and use the latest technologies on a high-profile application in a “tech-friendly”, hands-on environment.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

• 7+ years demonstrated experience in development
• Strong Node.js and React experience
• High attention to detail and advanced technical skills
• Experience with automated test strategies and building pipelines
• Comfortable with Cloud based infrastructure
• Strong experience in designing technical solutions for business problems 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

 Experience in the following:

• AWS infrastructure
• Solution design experience in a micro-service architectural landscape
• Experience in GCP would be beneficial 
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and production support tools, including SumoLogic, Dynatrace and DataDog
• Agile development implementation experience
• Experience working in a cross functional team
• Retail and eCommerce experience
