As part of this new operating model, we are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain BTS Planning Manager to lead and coordinate our Back To School (BTS) program, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional results.

Key Aspects of the Role:

  • Collaborate and Plan:
    • Work with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to plan the annual BTS program, incorporating improvements from previous years.
    • Prepare volume forecasts and document fulfillment models.
    • Define roles and responsibilities, develop a clear RACI, and plan BTS roles by state.
    • Facilitate business continuity planning for volume and capacity management.
  • Lead and Manage:
    • Oversee the master timeline, critical path, and key milestones.
    • Lead weekly sessions with stakeholders to ensure activities stay on track.
    • Coordinate actions, document decisions, and facilitate workshops for key decisions.
    • Manage project governance, reporting, and track risks and issues.
  • Engage and Support:
    • Attend BTS-related meetings, capturing key information and interdependencies.
    • Ensure smooth handover and support for the operations team during the BTS trade period.
    • Monitor execution, coordinate feedback, and resolve issues.
    • Lead the post-implementation review process for continuous improvement.

About you

Tertiary qualified in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. ideally, you also hold a project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile.

 

With 1-3 years of experience in successfully leading and delivering cross-functional projects, preferably in retail supply chain, you excel in managing multiple stakeholders, including virtual project teams.

 

Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to adapt to changing environments, make you an asset to any team. You possess high integrity, attention to detail, and exceptional communication and facilitation skills.

 

Key Competencies:

    • 1-3 years of experience in leading and delivering cross-functional projects, preferably in retail supply chain.
    • Experience in managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including virtual
    • Sound knowledge of project management fundamentals.
    • Clear communication for various audiences, developing actionable recommendations.
    • Experience in leading/coordinating cross-functional or virtual teams.
    • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across all organizational levels.
    • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Adaptability to ambiguous and changing environments.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
    • Conflict management, negotiation, and mediation skills.
    • Effective planning and time management.
