About the role

We’re looking for a Trade Marketing Lead to help deliver a high-impact, always-on trade marketing program that supports Officeworks’ broader trade and commercial goals. 

In this role, you’ll work end to end across strategy and execution, supporting a large-scale program that runs year-round. This includes weekly product and price activity, trade activations, catalogues, performance channels, and retail media. You’ll partner closely with teams across Marketing, Merchandise, Operations and Online to make sure everything lands on time, on brand, and on budget. 

You’ll also play a key role in driving operational efficiency, improving processes, and supporting the rollout of new tools and ways of working. Stakeholder management is a big part of the role, especially building strong relationships between Marketing and Merchandise. 

This role is hybrid, with 3 days a week based at our Chadstone Support Office. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Support delivery of a large, always-on trade marketing program across product, price, catalogue, retail media and digital channels 
• Manage timelines and execution across circa 500 campaigns per year 
• Work closely with Marketing, Merchandise, Operations and agency partners to deliver aligned outcomes 
• Maintain the master marketing calendar and support quarterly trade planning 
• Support retail media and supplier programs, including briefing and delivery 
• Drive process improvements and support new tools like Monday.com 
• Support budget management and ensure all activity meets brand and compliance requirements 
• Coach and support the Trade Marketing Coordinator 

About you

What you'll bring:  

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field 
• 7+ years’ experience in retail marketing or similar 
• Strong hands-on experience in advertising production 
• Confident communicator who can work across senior stakeholders 
• Highly organised with strong time management skills 
• Solutions focused and comfortable working at pace 
• Leadership capability with experience supporting or mentoring team members
