We’re about inspiring new ideas and thinking outside the box. We’re about kicking goals, having a laugh and pushing each other. We are about being rewarded and supported. We’re about teaching a customer something new and supporting the community. We’re about making a difference.

About the role

Our Supply Chain is a critical element in bringing our vision to life with a strong focus on Continuous Improvement and the modernisation of our vast network.

As part of this strategy we have commenced a major relocation and modernisation project for our Victorian Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC). This complex and fast paced project has encompassed the commissioning of new infrastructure at a new facility in Briggs Drive and the migration from the old Laverton facility.

Working as part of the Briggs Drive CFC Operations Team, we have two exciting Workflow Planning opportunities supporting the efficient allocation of daily operational tasks, carefully monitoring capacity levels of the given areas so as not to overload or under-allocate any aspects of the operation.

With the key objective to balance the workload and workflow across the operation to ultimately meet service levels with our customers, these key roles will have direct control over how the operation is managed from a workflow perspective, including: picking tasks, replenishment tasks, sorting and packing tasks, along with peripheral tasks such as receiving and dispatch.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Actively contribute to a safe work environment and promote a proactive safety culture, adhering to all company OH&S policies and ensure safe work practices

• Daily usage of WMS, RCS, SAP ERP and Excel application for order flow management

• Provide real time updates to all Team Leaders regarding Team Productivity, Receiving, Replenishment, Production, Despatch and Inventory

• Managing the allocation of inventory to deliveries in a timely and efficient manner, to meet the Officeworks service promise.

• Manage WMS work queues and conduct regular reviews to meet delivery service promise.

• Ensure the accurate QA reporting and despatch of orders and relevant documentation

• Ensure pick faces and inventory levels are maintained for optimised productivity and accuracy

• Consistently look for ways to improve work processes with a 360 degree of workflow within the DC

• Analyse and monitor key metrics and make recommendations to improve WMS and operational efficiencies while maintaining data integrity

• In conjunction with the Supply Chain continuous improvement (CI) team, support the management team in implementing CI Plans.
