About the role

Join our team at Geek2U as our Contractor Onboarding Specialist (Supply Growth) where you will build a capable, high‑quality contractor network that keeps our operations moving and delivers outstanding experiences to our customers.

We’re looking for someone who can attract, onboard and support a high quality, customer ready contractor workforce across multiple regions and skillsets.  You’ll manage the end‑to‑end contractor supply process from attracting new contractors and overseeing onboarding, to conducting early quality checks and supporting re‑engagement when activity slows. Your work ensures our contractor network is ready, compliant, and performing at its best.

If you’re organised, proactive and great at building relationships, this role gives you the opportunity to shape a contractor network that delivers consistently strong service outcomes.

This role is based in our North Rocks Support Office in NSW and is being offered as a full time 6-month fixed term contract.

As our Supply Growth Specialist, you will:

  • Lead the contractor supply strategy across regions and specialisations
  • Run sourcing and acquisition activities to bring high‑quality field contractors into the network
  • Forecast future contractor needs in partnership with Supply, Demand and Operations
  • Oversee onboarding to ensure contractors are compliant, trained and work‑ready
  • Conduct early-stage check‑ins to support activation, engagement and retention
  • Monitor quality and performance indicators and coordinate corrective action where required
  • Maintain accurate contractor documentation and compliance records
  • Produce reporting and insights on supply health and onboarding effectiveness
  • Manage recruitment channels and spend (LinkedIn, job boards, agencies) to ensure cost‑effective sourcing, continuously refine recruitment processes and supporting technology
  • Ensuring our contractor network, including newly onboarded independent contractors, is available, capable, compliant and ready to deliver to our customers

About you

You’re adaptable and resilient, able to navigate shifting priorities with confidence and ease. You bring a strong commercial lens and operational mindset, always balancing coverage, quality and demand.  In addition, you will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in recruiting or onboarding contractors ideally within a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment
  • Solid understanding of independent contractor engagement, including compliance, documentation and legal considerations
  • Hands‑on experience across contractor sourcing, onboarding and early‑stage performance or readiness support
  • Strong judgement when assessing capability, quality and alignment to business needs
  • Data‑informed and process‑driven, with a knack for spotting risks, gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Clear, confident communicator with excellent time management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously, while collaborating effectively across multiple teams
  • Quality‑focused, proactive and improvement‑minded, always looking for better ways to deliver
