About the role

Due to the continued growth in our B2B Education business, we have an incredible opportunity for an Education Business Specialist to join the team.

 

You will support your community of education and government customers on the road, meeting new clients your day will be filled by insightful conversations, learning about who they are, how Officeworks can support their business and building your portfolio through new client acquisitions.  As a trusted business partner, you will have the drive for identifying, acquiring, and onboarding new business customers and building long term, profitable and mutually beneficial relationships.

 

The role is instrumental in the continuing growth of the Officeworks B2B education offer and it is a great time to join our Education Business team as they continue to grow. 

This role will be based in metro Western Sydney, on the road face to face with customers visiting schools, working in the office and from home.

 

As an Education Business Specialist, you will:

  • Provide inspiring end to end solutions for our business customers, building strong partnerships and managing a portfolio of accounts
  • Proactively guide our customers in making the right choice of products for their business across all Officeworks product range
  • Managing existing accounts and opening new accounts
  • Maintain, grow and add business customers in your portfolio, contributing to yours and the overall business team’s success
  • Thinking outside the box to provide recommendations and advice to become a trusted business advisor and provide tailored customer solutions
  • Methodically plan your week to meet customer expectations, build relationship and deliver category/portfolio growth

About you

You are self-motivated, client centric, thrive on building new client relationships with a hunger for achieving targets/budgets and finding the best solutions for our customers.  Your enthusiasm, energy and proactive approach coupled with demonstrated Sales and/or Business Development experience in a B2B face to face sales environment will see you flourish in this role.  In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a client facing B2B sales role with background in education highly regarded
  • The ability to build long-term, profitable and sustainable relationships with business customers
  • A strong understanding of identifying and meeting customer needs, whilst maximising customer satisfaction
  • Good understanding of sales principles, including pipeline management with the ability to initiate new ideas/concepts
  • Strong commercial acumen with an Analytical and inquisitive mind
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience using Salesforce is highly desirable
