About the role

We are looking for a  strategic, hands on People & Capability Manager to join our People Partnering & Experience Team. This role will partner with our Operations Manager for NSW and their store leadership team across both NSW and ACT to deliver on strategic business initiatives and implement the People Strategy and people activities.  This role will also collaborate with senior business leads to scope new People projects and initiatives. 

This role will have a broad remit but can expect to be involved in all aspects of the people cycle. Key partnering support encompasses the co-design and delivery of the following areas of the People strategy and activities:-

  • Talent & Succession Framework
  • ER & IR Frameworks and Advice
  • Organisational Design and Implementation
  • People Experience
  • Coach and influence people leaders to enhance performance and leadership capability.
  • Provide actionable insights to leaders based on trends in HR data/analytics, provide support and coaching to act on initiatives with impact.
  • Supporting business leaders through the annual People Cycle including Performance, Goal Setting, Remuneration Review, STI and LTI programs
  • Act as a change agent and program management for People and related Business programs

About you

Tertiary qualified, you will be a commercial and strategic HR Business partner with experience partnering at GM level ideally coming from within Retail, FMCG or a fast-paced commercial businesses. Your in-depth experience in Talent and Succession Planning, coupled with your business and commercial acumen skills will make you a success in the role. You have the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and get things done in change orientated/ transformation environments.  It is essential you are capable of being an effective advisor to the Senior Leadership team.
