About the role
As a Sales Specialist within our close-knit B2B team, you’ll take an active role in expanding and strengthening our business customer base. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider team to build strong customer connections and deliver targeted outbound call campaigns that drive short- to medium-term sales outcomes.
You’ll use strong questioning and communication skills to understand customer needs and clearly present the Officeworks value proposition. As the first point of contact for new enquiries, you’ll qualify leads, gather valuable insights, and direct opportunities to the right internal teams—ensuring a smooth transition and an exceptional customer experience.
You’ll be supported by great leadership and training, all within a team dedicated to setting you up for success. This is a full-time, hybrid role with a minimum of three days in the office each week, and the remaining days working from home.
This position is offered as a 12-month contract.

You are a customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and experiences. You thrive on building rapport, have outstanding communication skills, and enjoy connecting people with the right solutions.
In addition, you will bring:
- Previous experience in customer service or a sales environment
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- An approachable, curious, and outgoing personality, with the ability to connect with a wide range of people
- Persistence and patience, with the resilience to handle customer rejection
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills, along with the ability to gather and record meaningful insights
