About the role

As the Warehouse Team Leader at Officeworks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC). Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all aspects of order fulfilment and delivery services, guaranteeing accurate and consistent service to our customers and store operations while motivating and driving results from a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety:

    • Proactively facilitate the implementation of the site safety action plan.
    • Foster a proactive safety culture and adherence to WH&S policies.
    • Investigate incidents and injuries, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
    • Participate in safety meetings and maintain Chain of Responsibility (COR) compliance.
  2. People:

    • Demonstrate everyday leadership and promote a respectful workplace culture.
    • Develop and support team members to fulfill their roles effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
    • Drive reward and recognition initiatives and manage performance issues effectively.
  3. Site Operations:

    • Provide input into operational initiatives and plans.
    • Coordinate the implementation of operational plans across the site.
    • Work towards improving CFC operations to align with business strategies.
    • Ensure operating standards meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
  4. Service and Productivity:

    • Liaise with the supply chain to meet customer delivery strategy.
    • Supervise team activities to ensure productivity and output targets are met.
  5. Production:

    • Monitor daily operations to meet same-day order fulfilment targets.
    • Ensure order accuracy and presentation standards are maintained.
  6. Outbound:

    • Coordinate deliveries to transport providers.
    • Ensure timely dispatch of freight in line with KPIs

About you


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Warehouse or Logistics Operational role or Team Leader Role.
  • Certificates in Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Health & Safety would be advantageous.
