About the role
Workflow champions driving an efficient, high-performing Distribution Centre.
Day and Afternoon Shifts available
At Officeworks, we're passionate about delivering a great experience for our customers, and our Distribution Centre team plays a critical role in making that happen. We're seeking two analytical and proactive Fulfilment Leads oversee daily operational workflow and ensure resources, systems and people are optimally aligned to achieve service and performance targets.
These are pivotal roles where you'll have direct influence over the efficiency, productivity and success of the entire Distribution Centre operation.
More About the Role
As a Fulfilment Lead, you will utilise our warehouse systems and technology to effectively allocate and manage daily operational tasks across the Distribution Centre.
Your primary focus will be balancing workload and workflow across multiple operational areas to ensure customer service levels are consistently achieved while maintaining safe and efficient operations.
You will monitor operational capacity, labour availability and infrastructure constraints to ensure resources are allocated effectively, preventing bottlenecks, underutilisation and operational delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and allocate daily workflow activities across the Distribution Centre
- Manage and prioritise:
- Workflow and fulfilment activities
- Inventory slotting
- Replenishment tasks
- Sorting and packing operations
- Receiving and despatch functions
- Monitor capacity levels across operational areas and adjust workflows as required
- Utilise warehouse systems and technology to optimise productivity and resource utilisation
- Support service level achievement through effective operational planning
- Collaborate with leaders and operational teams to address workflow challenges
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement
About you
You are a highly organised and analytical logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You can confidently manage competing priorities, make data-driven decisions and adapt quickly as operational demands change.
Your success as a leader, coach and mentor is well established as is your ability to inspire a successful and high-performing team.
To be successful, you'll bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience within a warehouse, logistics, supply chain or operational leadership role. Exposure to automation is a plus!
Strong understanding of warehouse and eCommerce operations and workflow management
Experience in operational planning and resource allocation
Knowledge of safe work practices and commitment to workplace safety
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience using warehouse management and operational systems, including:
SAP and BI
WMS
KRONOS
Well-developed administrative and communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
While no formal qualifications are required, the following would be advantageous:
Certificate in Warehouse Operations
Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics
Certificate in Health & Safety
